Lost customers.

Let me explain. Most likely you are paying for marketing and getting people to visit your website, right?

Yet even the best websites on the planet usually only convert visitors to sales leads at about 5%.

That means of every 100 visitors to your site, 95 leave and statistically speaking, are not likely to come back.

Put another way, you’re wasting 95% of your entire marketing budget.

That is a major problem.

Remarketing works like this.

Someone visits your website and a tiny piece of code called a “cookie” is placed on their web browser.

That cookie allows your advertising platform – probably Google or Facebook – to place ads in-front of them after they leave your site and browse the Internet.

The result is that your company seems to be everywhere and your prospect is repeatedly exposed to your brand.

Think of these ads as tireless, determined sales people that follow your prospects around the Internet 24-7 after they’ve left your site.

Apart from giving you repeated exposure, these ads will appear on some of the biggest sites on the web as well as some of the most influential sites in your local market.

To your prospects it will look like you’re spending a fortune on ads. But in reality, this is super-cheap to do because these ads are only appearing to people that have already visited your site.

Not the whole world.

If this sounds familiar, you’ve probably been remarketed to by sites like Amazon and Booking.com. They’ve been spending millions on this form of marketing for years.

But the technology has recently changed and what could only be used by large companies with huge budgets can now be done for pennies on the dollar.

In fact, there is no other form of advertising that consistently delivers a higher ROI than remarketing.

Even better, it is the only form of advertising that improves the ROI on all of your other advertising efforts.

If you’re currently running Google ads, you know how much it costs per a click. With remarketing you can often get those visitors back for 10-20% of the price of that original click.

Same with Facebook ads, radio ads or any other marketing you’re doing to get people to visit your site.

It really is a massive opportunity.

And the strange thing is that less than 2% of decking companies have remarketing set up properly.

Part of that is because many don’t know about it and part of it is because it is complicated to setup.

The worst thing you can do is setup your remarketing campaign incorrectly and irritate your prospective customers.

Imagine someone visiting your site and then seeing your exact same ad on almost every site they visit for the next six months.

At first, it will be cool but after a while they will begin to resent your business. That is the exact opposite effect that we’re going for with this.

We want your company to be viewed as an innovative business and remain top-of-mind when a prospect is ready to buy a new deck. We don’t want you to be perceived as a crazy cyber-stalker.

To avoid this you need to setup multiple ads. Unfortunately, just on the Google advertising platform alone there are 42 different ad sizes. Multiply 42 by the number of versions you want of your ad and you’ll get a huge design bill. Or a massive waste of your time.
